Connection Settings

To connect to the Eduroam® network, you can access the installation guides specific to your device and operating system using the links below.

User Information:
* For our university's undergraduate and graduate students
Username: your_student_number@ozal.edu.tr (enter the full number!)
Password: BYS_Your_Password
For example; if your student number is 123456, you must enter 123456@ozal.edu.tr in the Username section,

You must enter the password you use to log in to BYS in the Password section.

**For our university staff:
Username: your_email_address@ozal.edu.tr (write it in full!)
Password: Your_email_Password

Eduroam is designed to provide simple, secure, easy-to-use roaming access to WiFi services for academia. It is now available to millions of students, researchers and staff in over 100 territories and tens of thousands of locations.

How do I connect?

In order to configure devices to connect to eduroam, The geteduroam app works by tapping into the central eduroam CAT service and manages the required settings for your institution and device to ensure that you are always connecting to a valid, correctly configured, eduroam access point and that your details cannot be accessed.

Simply download the geteduroam app to get connected.

IMPORTANT:
Please pay attention to the following points regarding your device that you will use to join the Eduroam® network.

VPN software should not be used.
DNS settings must be configured automatically.
MS Windows 7 and older operating system versions cannot connect to the Eduroam® network because they do not meet the security requirements.
